Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms
Hearth is operated by Sikander Dhillon, an individual based in the United States (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using Hearth, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Not medical advice
Hearth describes the visible appearance of your skin and suggests cosmetic routines, for cosmetic and informational purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare professional for medical skin, hair or scalp concerns.
Scan analyses, routines and assistant answers are generated by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude). They can be wrong, and no person reviews them before you see them.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use Hearth. Hearth is offered in the United States only.
4. Subscription and billing
Hearth Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed weekly or yearly. There is no free trial: you are charged when you subscribe and at the start of each period until you cancel. Canceling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for.
Subscribed on the web (charged by Stripe): cancel from Settings.
Subscribed in the iPhone app (charged by Apple): cancel in your Apple ID settings (the app's Settings links there). Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases under its own policy, and we cannot issue or promise one. You can ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Nothing in these terms limits any refund or cancellation rights you have under the law where you live.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to access other accounts, reverse-engineer the service, or use automated means to interact with the platform without our written consent.
6. Intellectual property
All content, design, algorithms, and software on the Hearth platform are the property of Sikander Dhillon. The skin profile and routine data generated for you is yours — we claim no ownership over your personal data.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, and our liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for Hearth in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.
8. Changes to terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page, and the version on this page is the one that applies. We do not currently send notices about changes, so please check back from time to time. If you keep using Hearth after a change, the updated terms apply to you.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute about them or about Hearth, are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any such dispute will be decided by the state or federal courts located in the State of New York, and you and we agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.
